Richard Valantasis and Douglas K. Bleyle’s essay entitled “The Public and Corporate Nature of Sin” in the forthcoming book "Ambassadors For God: Reconciliation Rites for the 21st Century" by Church Publishing Inc. as part of their Prayer Book Study Series. This book of essays edited by Jennifer M. Phillips on reconciliation is currently in the publication process with Church Publishing Inc. and should be available in the near future. Currently Richard Valantasis and Douglas K. Bleyle are writing Centuries of Contemplation with the Associates of the ICL. This book project is a sequel to Richard’s book Centuries of Holiness as a genre of 100 short essays bringing the theological and theoretical underpinnings of the contemplative tradition towards day to day living in our time. We are currently approaching the half way mark (50 essays) with our Associates. By becoming an Associate of the ICL you too can join in the reflections and conversation. Lastly, since passing into a new liturgical calendar year last November, we are looking for ways to publish our Revised Common Lectionary reflections and Contemplative Thoughts of the Week. Stay tuned as we investigate our options for publication on these contemplative reflections. |
